Your E-fatbike with its thick tyres will give you a smooth ride over bumpy paths and help you keep up the pace with electric pedal support. The great thing about an E-fatbike is that you feel like you’re riding on a cloud. Because they’re so light, E-fatbikes are also incredibly manoeuvrable and give good traction when taking corners.
You don’t need a driving license to hire a fatbike. The electric bikes have a top speed of 25 kilometres per hour but are very similar to a standard e-bike. Although the bikes are quite bulky, the electric assistance makes them a really light bicycle. Cycling experience is a must, however. There is no minimum age for using the E-fatbikes and you can cycle on them as long as you are at least 1.50 metres tall.
During the tour you pass by:
Geldersekade, Zeedijk, Oude Kerk, De Dam, Nieuwmarkt, Lastagnebuurt, Joodsebuurt, Plantagebuurt/ Artis, Amstel, Magere Brug, Museumplein,
Canal belt, Vondelpark, Jordaan, Westelijk Eilanden. There’s also plenty of opportunity to stop and take great photos.
