Who we are

Restaurant 1e Klas is a special restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam Central station. We serve guests from around the world. We’re a meeting point and place to relax for everyone including international tourists en route to the city, day-trippers or Amsterdam locals seeking an exclusive dining experience. 

And of course, we also welcome large groups for elaborate lunches or dinners. If you’re travelling alone and fancy a quick break, join us for a delicious coffee and the very finest apple pie. It doesn’t matter who you are or what your plans are that day. Our waiters are always ready to serve you and offer everyone a traditional and exclusive service. 

As well as our amazing staff, our restaurant is also home to a rather special mascot. Make sure you call in soon so you can meet Elvis the Cockatoo; a true entertainer, he loves making everyone feel at home. His wooden stand is his stage and if you sit near him, you can’t help but laugh.
